New Changes Are Coming, Everything You Need to Know

  • General Information
    • Why are we moving to North Sea Fish & Farms?
      North Sea has been handling our operations already for some time, and is another local brand that is already focused on Top-quality products, like Bessie Box. By joining their family officially, we will be able to provide you with more options and higher quality items under one roof. One check out, one delivery date, but even more to love.

    • What does this mean for customers?
      You’ll continue to receive the same great service you’re used to—now with more options, but just exclusively through northsea.ca

    • When will the changes take effect?
      You will be able to start subscribing to our Bessie Box Bundles on July 3rd. You may start seeing changes to the website and branding shortly before or after this date.

    • Will the brand name change?
      Nope, you will still be able to stop strictly by Bessie Box bundles, as well as North Sea products. However, all your communication will now come from North Sea Fish & Farms. Think order confirmation, shipping, and delivery emails. 
  • Orders & Subscriptions
    • What happens to my existing orders or subscriptions?
      All current orders and subscriptions scheduled for before July 8th, 2025 will be fulfilled but then your subscription will be cancelled, and you will need to re-order on the North Sea Fish & Farms site on July 3rd, 2025. 
      All current orders and subscriptions scheduled for after July 8th, 2025 will be cancelled and you will need to re-order on the North Sea Fish & Farms site on July 3rd, 2025.  
      All current Bessie Box subscribers will be contacted with support with the process. 

    • Will my billing or payment information change?
      You will need to add your billing or payment information to your account when you create a new account on North Sea Fish & Farms on July 3rd, 2025 as we are not transferring any account information over. 
  • Account & Login
    • Will my login credentials still work?
      No, you will need to make a new profile on North Sea. You could create it now, and start ordering North Sea products, or wait until all the products are available on July 3rd, 2025

    • Do I need to create a new account?
      All Bessie Box customers will need to make a new profile on North Sea, and new subscriptions through North Sea on July 3rd, 2025.

    • What happens to my saved preferences or history?
      For all Bessie Box customers, your preferences or history will not follow you to the North Sea website, but you should be able to find your favourites on North Sea. Contact info@northsea.ca, if you need any help finding something after July 3rd, 2025. 
  • Products & Services
    • Will the product or service offerings change?
      Yes, in a good way! Bessie box is focusing on what it does best - top-quality curated bundles, full of all your favourite products. You will be able make a one-time order or create a subscription on these bundles. 
      You will also still be able to find and subscribe to individual items, they might just look a little different. Thankfully, you'll have access to a broader range of products —conveniently in one place. Remember - one checkout, one delivery, but more to love.

    • Are there any new features or benefits?
      We’re working on introducing new features after we have confirm every single customer is happy with this new set up. Stay tuned for announcements!

    • Will pricing change?
      Some pricing may be adjusted to reflect our new offerings, but we remain committed to providing unbeatable value for top-quality local products.

    • Will support channels remain the same?
      We’re consolidating support into one easy-to-reach team. You can contact us via info@northsea.ca. Our team is always ready to help, and ready to make this change as easy as possible.

    • Are there new support hours or contact methods?
      Our support hours are 9am - 4pm on weekdays, and you can reach us through info@northsea.ca. We’re here to help!

    • What happens to my personal data?
      Your data remains secure. We’re updating our privacy policy to reflect the change, but your information will not be shared or sold. 

    • How is my data being protected during the transition?
      We will not be transitioning any billing or payment information, but we use industry-standard encryption and security protocols to ensure any additional data is safe throughout the transition. 
  • Brand Identity & Experience
    • Will the website look different?
      Yes, you will now be navigating to northsea.ca to order all Bessie Box products. But we are refreshing the navigation so you can find Bessie Box products easier! 

    • What should I expect from the new brand experience?
      A more seamless, unified experience with the same dedication to top-quality and service you’ve come to expect and love!
